at McDonough First Assembly

It is our desire to encounter the Power and Presence of God in our weekly gatherings at McDonough First Assembly!  We also strive to create an atmosphere of Love, Acceptance, and Forgiveness.  We are family and gain Life from walking together in Christ Honoring Community.

Every Sunday Morning we come together to Study God's Word, to Worship, and to Pray with one another.  We have age specific ministries ranging from infants to senior adult ministry.  At 10am we have multiple Sunday school classes across our campus, and at 11am we come together to worship in the main sanctuary.

Every Monday at 6:30pm we host a powerful ministry called Celebrate Recovery!  A meal is served for all who attend at 6pm and free childcare is provided as well.  This is an opportunity to be encouraged in your faith, hear powerful testimonies of the transformation power of the gospel, and gain the support and encouragement we all need from fellow believers!

Wednesday's at 7pm are our Midweek Services.  We have opportunities to grow for the whole family as well!  Our Kids Ministry has gender specific discipleship with our Royal Ranger Program (for Boys) and our Impact Girls Program.  Our Middle and High School Students meet for youth service on Wednesday at 7pm as well at Ignite Student Ministries!

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain or addiction of any kind.  Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our life.  Join us every Monday at 6pm for a meal and fellowship, Celebrate Recovery begins at 6:30, and free childcare is provided.

Worship sets an atmosphere for the presence and power of God to change lives!  If you have a gift and ability to sing, play instruments, or serve in the media department...we would love to get you involved.

In the very near future McDonough First Assembly will be getting outside the four walls of our church building to serve our community with the love of Jesus.  Jesus said the greatest will be those that serve.  Be watching for many new opportunities to get your hands to work, serving the incredible community we live in!

Living In Faith Everyday

Kid's Life is dedicated to assisting you in the growth and spiritual well being of your children.  Through fun filled services we help kids grow in their walk with the Lord, by teaching them God’s Word, the power of prayer, and how to be a witness to their friends.  We treat and mentor each child as if they are our own by providing a spirit led safe environment for them to discover their own unique identity in Jesus.

If you or a family member are facing a difficult season in life, we want to be here for you.  Our Pastor, and our leaders want to visit you if you are in the hospital and lift you up in prayer.  If there is a pressing need, call the church office, set up and appointment to meet with Pastor Jonathan, or click below and we will ask heaven to intersect your life and believe God for your miracle!

All women are welcome to join us for a 6-week series journey through "The Quest," a Beth Moore study.  Pastor Heather Mullinax is leading the discussions and together we will grow closer to God and closer together.

We meet in the Fellowship Hall at 7pm on Wednesdays simultaneous to the normal Wednesday night Bible Study.
